Perennity DICOM edition - Moving from film to CD, DVD and BluRay
Perennity DICOM offers a turnkey solution for the medical industry to output examination data from any DICOM compliant modality or PACS to CD, DVD and BluRay. It substantially reduces production costs compared to traditional film. Any DICOM viewer can be added to the disc to display and manipulate the DICOM images.
Perennity uses CD/DVD autoloaders (robots) to automate the production, and at the same time personalizes the media with a custom label. Any information can be printed on top of the CD/DVD: patient name and identifier, date and time, list of studies, etc. Of course you can also add logos and pictures to the printout, or even thumbnails of included images.
Once processed, you may decide to keep all DICOM images for archiving purposes. Images can be stored on large capacity RAID systems or long term archive storage solutions (e.g. CAS, BluRay libraries).
